Keep Your Magnet at Factory Strength

MPI’s Pull Test Kit is an essential tool for validating the strength and performance of magnetic separators in industrial processing environments. Engineered to support compliance with regulatory standards such as HACCP, FSMA, and GFSI, the kit provides a repeatable, accurate method for measuring magnetic holding force in pounds or kilograms. Designed for quality assurance, equipment maintenance, and audit readiness, the kit helps operators determine whether magnets operate within optimal specifications or require cleaning, service, or replacement. Durable, portable, and easy to use, MPI’s Pull Test Kit supports routine inspection protocols and investigative troubleshooting in food, pharmaceutical, plastics, and powder-handling applications.

Pull Test Kit Product Details

How It Works
  • Based on the magnet type and application, select the appropriate test piece from the kit e magnet type and application (steel or stainless test sphere).

  • Attach the test piece to the magnetic surface using the non-magnetic pull fixture or ring.

  • Connect the digital or mechanical pull scale using the provided hook or fixture to the test piece.

  • Apply a slow, steady pull perpendicular to the magnet surface until the test piece detaches.

  • Record the peak force reading displayed on the scale, representing the magnetic holding force.

  • Compare readings to manufacturer specifications or historical records to assess performance.

  • Log test results into your quality system or audit log as part of your regular validation schedule.
