Contaminant Capture
- As the liquid or slurry flows through the unit, it passes around and through a series of high-intensity magnetic tubes housed within the trap.
- Ferrous contaminants are attracted to the powerful magnetic surface and securely retained on the downstream side of the tubes. This strategic placement prevents tramp metal “wash-off”, ensuring that contaminants remain trapped even under continuous flow conditions.
- The high-pressure design (up to 150 PSI at 120°F) ensures that contamination removal occurs without restricting flow rates or disrupting the overall system performance.
