Product Information Coming Soon
The MPI Stack Tracker Sheet Separator (STSS Series) is the safest manually operated magnetic fanner on the market, built to streamline sheet handling in automated stamping, forming, and shearing operations. Engineered to eliminate double-sheet errors and minimize injury risk, the Stack Tracker separates oily, sticky, or pre-finished blanks with powerful rare-earth magnetic force while incorporating industry-leading safety features. As the blank stack height decreases, the unit automatically adjusts its position, maintaining effective separation throughout the cycle. The rugged stainless-steel design and optional safety on/off switch make this separator ideal for high-volume, safety-sensitive environments.
Benefits of the Stack Tracker From Magnetic Products, Inc
-
Automatic Stack Tracking
Follows the sheet stack downward as blanks are removed, maintaining consistent separation without manual repositioning.
-
Rare Earth Magnetic Power
Ensures reliable fanning of challenging materials such as oily or pre-coated blanks, reducing double sheeting.
-
Dual-Handle Safety Design
Improves operator control and ergonomics during placement and removal.
-
Stainless Steel Housing
Provides corrosion resistance, hygiene compatibility, and long-term durability.
-
Integrated Safety Cover
Shields are moving parts to eliminate pinch points and reduce injury risk during use.
-
Optional On/Off Switch (Safety Version)
Disengages magnet when not in use, preventing unintended activation.
-
Replaceable Wear Strips
Extend service life and reduce maintenance costs.

Stack Tracker Product Details
Setup
Slide the magnetic housing over the pallet pin or positioning bracket on the stack of metal blanks.
Initial Placement
Attach the unit near the top of the stack, aligning it to the sheet face.
Magnetic Separation Begins
The rare earth magnet induces repelling poles in the stacked metal sheets, fanning them for easier single-sheet pickup.
Automatic Descent
As sheets are removed from the top of the stack, the Stack Tracker glides downward, maintaining consistent sheet separation.
Safety Control (if applicable)
In safety versions, the operator can turn off the magnetic field when the separator is not in use to reduce hazards.
Reposition as Needed
Once the stack is depleted, the unit can be repositioned onto a new stack or returned to its dock.
