MPI Earns USDA Certification

MPI is proud to announce being awarded USDA certification for multiple products in the dairy category, and the meat and poultry category. MPI products now bearing this certificate include: Plate Magnets, Grate Magnets, Drawer Magnets, Round Spout Drawer Magnets, Liquid Finger Trap and Liquid Plate Trap Magnets.

The USDA granted this certificate to MPI in recognition of achieving all strict, sanitary hygiene requirements on equipment design and function. Equipment requirements include:

• Durable, corrosion-resistant and nonabsorbent
• Sufficient in weight and thickness to withstand repeated washing
• Smooth finishing, and easily cleanable surface
• Resistant to pitting, chipping, crazing, scratching, scoring, distortion and decomposition
