The MPI Blade Magnet™ is an advanced liquid finger trap magnetic separator specifically engineered to eliminate ferrous contaminants from liquid processing systems while ensuring continuous flow. It guarantees optimal metal capture efficiency with minimal upkeep, featuring a unique single-tube design, strong neodymium magnets, and Intell-I-Mag® real-time monitoring technology.

Product Flow & Magnetic Capture

  • The magnet housing receives liquid or slurry, where an effectively positioned 2-inch magnetic tube is aligned with the product flow.
  • A baffle system channels the liquid towards the magnetic field, maximizing exposure to the 11,500-gauss rare-earth magnet.
  • As the liquid passes through the separator, ferrous contaminants—including tramp metal, stainless steel fines, and work-hardened stainless-steel particles—are drawn to the magnetic surface.

These contaminants stick behind the tube, in line with the flow path, preventing wash-off and ensuring high capture efficiency even at high pressure (up to 150 PSI).
