Pneumatic Automated Fanner Magnet Product Details
Installation
Use the provided bracket or custom mounting plate to mount the PAFM to the robotic arm, tooling system, or line structure.
Initial Setup
Connect the unit to your facility’s pneumatic system and PLC controller for automated actuation.
Activation
When a new stack of metal sheets is presented, the PLC signals the unit to extend the magnet toward the stack.
Sheet Separation
The rare earth magnet induces “like” poles into the steel sheets, creating repelling forces that separate the sheets for easy pickup.
Automatic Retraction
Once the fanning is complete, the magnet retracts pneumatically away from the sheet stack, removing the magnetic field and allowing the top sheet to be removed cleanly.
Repeat Cycle
The system is ready for the next sheet stack without manual intervention, ensuring continuous, efficient operation.
