Handheld Demagnetizer

The MPI Handheld Demagnetizer is a portable and efficient tool designed to remove residual magnetism from large or complex metal components such as molds, bearings, and machine parts—especially in areas that table or tunnel demagnetizers cannot reach. Residual magnetism often remains in metal after exposure to magnetic fields, depending on the material type and size. To eliminate this, the workpiece must be subjected to an alternating magnetic field that reduces magnetism to the lowest possible level. MPI’s handheld demagnetizers generate this field, allowing users to demagnetize objects easily and effectively by slowly moving the unit across and away from the surface.

MPI offers two models tailored to different workpiece sizes and thicknesses, with the HD2 model designed for larger or thicker components. Both models feature high demagnetization power in a compact, lightweight plastic housing with a large handle for easy maneuverability. Operation is simple with a push-button control and built-in overheating protection. The unit runs on 110 VAC and includes a 10-foot power supply cable. It is recommended for use with a 20% duty cycle and a maximum operating time of 10 minutes. Utilizing ElectroPermanent Magnetic Technology, the demagnetizer is manufactured in Europe to the highest quality standards and comes with a one-year warranty on the magnetic system.
