Intell-I-Mag® magnets - or sensor-enabled smart separators - are a revolutionary step in metal control and factory automation available for gravity, pneumatic, and liquid conveying applications.
Intell-I-Mag® is a technology platform that pairs sensors within a magnetic separator with an app or computer-based dashboard to measure and report out magnet saturation in real time. Intell-I-Mag® sensors monitor tramp metal saturation on the working surface of the magnetic separator. These sensors report data to a hardwired control box. That data is then transmitted via bluetooth to a mobile app or through a direct connection with the internal plant control system – alerting the operator when the magnet requires cleaning.
