Ceramic and Rare Earth Tube Magnets
Protect Process Equipment
MPI magnetic tubes are proudly made in the USA and are commonly used to remove small to medium size ferrous tramp metal contaminants from a variety of product streams. Typical uses for a magnetic tube include removing ferrous metal from dry or liquid products commonly caused by metal on metal wear or other product contamination. Magnetic tubes protect process equipment and help ensure a high quality metal free product. All tube magnet ends are provided with1/4”-20 tapped holes and are fully welded for the highest durability, no crimped or mechanically sealed end plugs.

* Pull values are average on contact and Gauss values are peak on contact. ** High-Temp magnets will have lower pull values versus standard temp design due to lower MGOe material *** Always consult a magnet professional before selecting thin wall magnet tubes. Thin wall tubes are not recommended for products with abrasive characteristics or in manual clean designs such as grates. |
Ceramic and Rare Earth Tube Magnet Product Details
How It Works
The product stream flows around one or more 1” diameter tube magnets located within the product streams that are attached to their housing via the tapped end holes. As tramp metal contaminants are captured, they move to the underside of the tubes eliminating tramp metal “wash-off”. Magnet tubes are easy to install and clean. They offer an efficient and economical ferrous metal filtration protection of your processing equipment. The magnet tubes may be used as individual units or part of multiple row arrangements.
Product Options
Tube Magnet Diameter:
- 1″ diameter (standard)
- 3″ diameter (available for self-clean and quick clean only)
