Manual Clean Chute Magnet
Ideal for Heavy Product Flows
MPI’s Manual-Clean Chute Magnets are designed to remove medium to large-size ferrous tramp metal contaminant’s from high-volume product flows in gravity-fed vertical chutes. The MC-Series magnets are ideal for use with heavy product flows which would otherwise bridge or choke if filtered through magnetic grates. MPI’s MC-Series magnets are used in many industries including the food, feed, chemical and grain to improve product quality and protect equipment such as milling, processing and packaging.

Manual Clean Chute Magnet Product Details
How It Works
The product stream flows between two large permanent plate magnets located on either side of the chute. A center diverter directs the product flow towards the working surface of the two plate magnets, which are stepped to minimize tramp metal “wash-off”. Tramp metal contaminants are captured from the product stream and collected under the step of the plate magnet. The cleaning shell or operator safely removes the tramp metal from the product stream to a disposal area outside the chute.
