Culture Committee and Employee Experience Team

We ensure our customers have a preeminent experience when choosing state-of-the-art magnetic separation and industrial processing products. With that, we know promoting an awesome work environment is key to the recipe of MPI’s success. We are proud to say that our employees to have fun together! We encourage our employees to engage in their work journey.
MPI has two volunteer employee committees – the Culture Committee and the Employee Experience Team. Both work conjointly to generate ideas, plan events and evaluate efforts for a positive work environment based on our Core Values. At MPI we live by our Core Values – Excellence in the Ordinary, Cultural Warrior, No Red Tape, PhD in Customer Education and Shared Loyalty.
Employee Experience Team
The Small Gestures, Big Impact campaign is run by the Employee Experience Team to remind each employee they are valued. Frequently the Team provides a token of appreciation to all employee whether a personalized note in your Christmas stocking, Awesome to the Core apples, an overloaded hot cocoa bar or treats BURSTING with JOY to you have you as an employee!
Culture Committee
The Culture Committee sponsors luncheons celebrating big sports events like the Super Bowl, March Madness and the Michigan State vs. University of Michigan rivalry. We compete for cash prizes and bragging rights at the Fall Annual Chili-Cook-Off Contest, Pumpkin Throwing Contest and Cinco de Mayo piñata parties. We make sure to observe Employee Appreciation Day because we genuinely do appreciate our employees.
For Thanksgiving, we have a pie and ice cream social and provide each employee with a turkey. It is a fun way to show our employees how truly thankful we are for all that they do every day! Throughout the year we have football squares and 50/50 raffles which contribute to a festive Christmas party at an off-site location with your guest!
The Safety Celebration is by the far the best and most deserved company wide event. We applaud our manufacturing team in 2020 for six years without a lost time accident. It is truly a rewarding safety milestone.
Our office employees enjoy the ability to use flex-time when needed. Our manufacturing staff enjoy a four day work week. All employees are treated to a day off for their birthday!
We are always open to new ideas on how to improve on company culture but right now, we think we are doing a pretty good job!
