News from MPI
MPI’s Kyle Rhodes and Kris Tennyson spent some time with Steven Kilger of Feed and Grain Magazine discussing the importance of an effective magnetic separation and metal control system in food and bulk material processing, the disruptive nature of MPI’s Intell-I-Mag® technology, and the future of magnetic separation. Spoiler alert – it’s more efficient, automated, and sustainable than ever.
MPI – Magnetic Products, Inc. is proud to announce that its work with Kennedy Rice Mill and subsequent case study describing the cost-saving impact of incorporating the patented Intell-I-Mag® magnetic separation system into their plant, has been featured in Powder and Bulk Solids’ online publication.
The Intell-I-Mag 2” Tube Drawer Magnet is a game-changer for the bulk material handling industry. It has two key benefits that can help operators save time and money. First, the new design includes two-inch diameter magnetic tubes that generate a powerful magnetic field. This is effective at removing weakly magnetic tramp metal, such as work-hardened stainless steel. Second, the integration of MPI’s patented Intell-I-Mag technology can help reduce unnecessary plant downtime for magnet cleanings and enables operators to keep the separator operating at peak performance. This can lead to significant cost savings for customers, with increased uptime and improved product quality.
It was a fun, whirlwind tradeshow season in the year’s first half. Our team traveled the U. S. with welcoming reviews as they demonstrated the newly patented, Intell-I-Mag™, the first magnetic separator to alert plant operators in real-time. Attendees were excited to witness the revolutionary technology that will save facilities money and overcome limited personnel resources. Intell-I-Mag is the only intelligent magnetic separator on the market that “tells” you when it is time to clean your magnet, or just as importantly, when it is not time to do so.
Congratulations MPI Team. You did it again! Nine years running. What an accomplishment to hoist another safety banner. Keep up the great work.
ECO-FLOW | HARCO BRAKE COMPONENTS
When a manufacturer suspects that a drilling operation could cause plugs inside a precision brake component, he knows that the resulting damage will be more costly and require greater action than a simple phone call . . .
SHAKERS | RADAR INDUSTRIES
Like any maintenance supervisor at a busy stamping plant, 30-year manufacturing veteran Mike De Vitt's goal at Radar Industries in Warren, Michigan, is to keep his presses up and running . . .
SHAKERS | TOLEDO TOOL AND DIE
Toledo Tool and Die (TTD), of Toledo OH, approached MPI looking for an improved method to remove scrap from their stamping press. MPI recommended that TTD consider MPI’s M-50 electric shaker . . .
MINI FREE FLOW | GLOBAL FOOD PROCESSOR
When raw materials arrive at a food plant, they can contain many types of contaminants, including metals. Metals find their way into raw materials from the time of harvest through the many material handling processes needed to turn them into a product ready for packaging . . .
BLM | MAJOR MANUFACTURER
Removal of scrap metal is a vital, constant and costly function faced by plant managers worldwide. Untimely removal of scrap can endanger workers and damage machinery . . .
MAGNETIC CHUTE | MAJOR CO-PACKER
Ensuring that there is no cross-contamination, coupled with dustless operation were their biggest concerns . . .
