MPI Case Study Featured in Powder and Bulk Solids

MPI – Magnetic Products, Inc. is proud to announce that its work with Kennedy Rice Mill and subsequent case study describing the cost-saving impact of incorporating the patented Intell-I-Mag® magnetic separation system into their plant, has been featured in Powder and Bulk Solids’ online publication.

This original case study measures the actual cost-savings afforded by the Intell-I-Mag® system in a real world application. By alerting the plant operators of the saturation level of their magnets, Intell-I-Mag® guided Kennedy Rice Mill to a one-third reduction in downtime for magnet cleaning by eliminating unnecessary plant shut downs. Increasing uptime while reducing labor costs involved in checking magnets that did not need to be cleaned, amounted to a savings of over $1.5M in the first year of operation.
