MPI Supports Customers in FSMA Compliance
Highland, MI (August 14, 2017) – To assist MPI food manufacturing customers to become FSMA compliant, MPI is now offering FSMA Support Packets for every piece of equipment that may be considered either a Control Point or Critical Control Point. These packets are a comprehensive tool documenting everything required by FSMA on a piece of critical control point equipment. The packet contains a copy of the customer’s order, customer certified drawing of the item, the item’s weld specifications, factory magnet certification (if applicable), cleaning and testing recommendations, preventative maintenance and spare parts recommendations, and exploded parts views with spare parts and spare parts number list. MPI FSMA Support Packets simplify audit preparation and offer a high level of confidence for compliance upcoming audits. For new orders, FSMA Support Packets can be emailed to the identified contact at the time of shipment. For existing MPI customers that would like FSMA Support Packets for their existing equipment, the packets can be emailed by request.
